Interface tour

DepthWizard is a single workspace. Everything happens on one screen: upload, inference, 3D navigation, analysis and export.

Where a run starts: the drop zone (PNG / JPG / TIFF up to 512 MB), the image card (size, bands, bit depth, a georeferenced badge with its EPSG code, and the GSD read from the file), Resolution (m/pixel), the Higher quality (TTA) switch, Estimate heights and a summary of the current result. See Your first estimate.

One canvas with three views: 3D DSM (perspective), Height Map and Input Image (both top-down). It also holds:

  • the view switcher (top left) and the tool palette (3D objects, basemap, facilities, OSM),
  • the product chip, showing rDSM / nDSM / DSM and anchoring progress,
  • the navigation stack: zoom in / out, fullscreen, and reset (shown after the camera has moved),
  • the compass (georeferenced scenes; click to face north),
  • legends: scale bar (2D views), colour bar, class and layer legends,
  • a hover card with the object type and height under the cursor.

See Navigating in 3D and Layers & visualisation.

Three tabs:

  • Layers: what is draped on the terrain and how it looks (Layers).
  • Validation: compare with a reference raster (Validation).
  • Info: elevation reference and anchoring, height statistics, geometry and CRS, detected objects, provenance, the model report and download links (Anchoring).

Live read-outs under the cursor: pixel x/y, height, slope, lat/lon, difference from the reference, plus the scene’s GSD and its source, product, grid size and EPSG, vertex count, camera mode and fps (shown in orange below 30).

The OpenStreetMap overlay, basemap and Facilities need a georeferenced scene, because they are positioned by coordinates.
